‘Dead And Gone’ is the latest single from Chris Shiflett. It was written during a time of reflection in the spring of 2020, the song is an ode to his hometown and the friends and characters that have influenced him. “My hometown was an odd mix of luxury paradise and working-class grit and continues to be a bottomless pit of lyrical inspiration,” he explains. ‘Dead And Gone’ is a groove-laden, fuzzy take on rock'n'roll, with a country twist. Charlie Worsham's dobro playing blends perfectly with Tom Bukovac's tremolo guitar tone and provides the ideal backing for Shiflett's lead guitar chicken pickin' solo.
